17. Logs

Logs provide recent activities on the Dispatch including alerts, PTT calls, emergency call, audit logs, geofence logs, location reports and audio recordings of recorded calls.

17.1        Alert Logs

Alert logs provide detailed information about all alerts. Alert logs can be filtered on the following fields:

  • From Date: Allows filtering from a specific date.
  • To Date: Allows filtering to a specific date. The dispatchers can filter on a maximum of seven days of data.
  • Direction: Outgoing or incoming alert.
  • Type: IPA, one-to-one missed call, quick group missed call, talkgroup missed call, broadcast missed call, my talkgroup missed call, area talkgroup missed call, emergency one-to-one alert, and emergency talkgroup alert.
  • Name: Filter by the talkgroup name or phone number from whom the alert has been received.
  • Member: Filter by phone number or member’s name of the initiator of the alert.

17.2        Call Logs

Call logs provide call history including recordings. Call logs can be filtered on the following fields:

  • From Date: Allows filtering from a specific date.
  • To Date: Allows filtering to a specific date. The dispatchers can filter on a maximum of seven days of data.
  • Direction: Outgoing or incoming call.
  • Type: One-to-one call, quick group call, talkgroup call, broadcast call, my talkgroup call, area talkgroup or listening.
  • Name: Filter by the talkgroup name or phone number from whom the call has been received.
  • Member: Filter by phone number or member’s name of the initiator of the call.
  • Initiator or Target User: Filter by initiator or target user for whom the emergency has been initiated.
  • Category: Allows filtering by ambient listening, discreet listening, emergency call or normal call.

Dispatcher can view the delivery report for the originated broadcast call by hovering the mouse over the Broadcast icon on the Call Type column for any given outgoing Broadcast call.

It is possible to view the initiation type by hovering the mouse over the Emergency, Discreet or Ambient icon on the Call Type column for any given call if the dispatcher is authorized.

The initiator column shows the name or phone number of the fleet member who initiated the call.

17.3        Video Logs

Video logs contains incoming (video push) and outgoing (video pull) video call history. To view the Video Logs, click the Logs tab and then click on the Video Logs sub-tab within it. The Video logs can be filtered using the following fields:

  • From date: Outgoing or incoming video call.
  • To Date: Allows filtering to a specific date. You can filter on a maximum of 30 days of data. To view entries in video logs the user needs to set up the filter and click the search icon.
  • Name: Filter by fleet member’s or talkgroup’s name.
  • Member: Filter by phone number or member’s name of the initiator of the call.
  • Session Method: Filter by video push or video pull.
  • Target User: Filter by the initiator of the call or target user for whom the emergency has been initiated.
  • Type: One-to-one call, quick group call, talkgroup call, broadcast call, my talkgroup call or area talkgroup call.

17.4        Audit Logs

Audit logs monitor various administration, operation and network events that have occurred on Dispatch. The audit logs can be filtered on the following fields:

  • From Date: Allows filtering from a specific date.
  • To Date: Allows filtering to a specific date. The dispatcher can filter on a maximum of seven days of data.
  • Description: Filter by the description of the event.
  • Type: Filter by types of the event.
    • Administration Log: The administration logs mainly contain the triggers or events received from the CAT such as activation or deactivation and modification to the dispatcher, any modification to broadcast group, contacts or groups and other administration events.
    • Network Log: Network logs contains all the network event occurred such as map Provider reachable/not reachable and other network events.
    • Operation log: Operation logs contains the events other than call and alert activity from the user such as login and logout success or failure, the dispatcher presence status change and other operational events.

17.5        Geofence Logs

Geofence logs provide detail information about the fleet member fence logs. Geofence logs are achieved when fleet member crosses the boundary defined by the dispatcher for that talkgroup. Geofence logs are achieved based on the dispatcher’s Location settings. The dispatcher can assign geofence to talkgroups only. Geofence logs are filtered on the following fields:

  • From Date — Allows filtering from a specific date.
  • To Date — Allows filtering to a specific date.
  • Event Type — Inside fence or out of the fence.
  • Talkgroup Name — Filter by the name of the talkgroup to which fence is applied.
  • Fence Name — Filter by the name of the fence.
  • Member Name — Filter by the name of the member to which fence is enabled.

17.6        Location Reports

Location Reports can be generated for the location received from the dispatcher fleet member. The dispatcher can choose for the reporting period not exceeding 30 days for the report generation.

The location reports can be filtered on the following fields:

  • From Date: Allows filtering from a specific date.
  • To Date: Allows filtering to a specific date. The dispatcher can filter on a maximum of 30 days of data.
