Once you have added a TLK 100 device to the WAVE Portal, it automatically appears as a User in your Users menu. From the Users menu, you can edit the Talkgroups and Contacts associated with the device. From the TLK 100s menu, you can edit the properties of the TLK 100 unit.
This section describes how to edit the TLK 100 device configuration. For instructions on editing a TLK 100 User see: Editing a TLK 100 User.
To edit an individual TLK 100 device
- Login to WAVE with your Customer account.
- In the left navigation frame, click the TLK 100s menu.
The TLK 100s page opens displaying all registered TLK 100 devices.
- Click the name of a TLK device 100 to edit.
The Device Information page for the selected TLK 100 opens. Click the gray heading areas to switch between Device Info and Settings.
- Device Information options include the following:
- IMEI
International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) is a unique numerical identifier for every mobile device. WAVE uses the IMEI in conjunction with the Serial Number to identify each TLK 100. - Serial Number
Each serial number is unique to a TLK 100 device. WAVE uses the Serial Number in conjunction with the IMEI to identify and register TLK 100s. - Cellular Status
Shows the status of cellular services. - Radio Alias
It is the alternate name of the radio device.

- Settings options include the following:
- Language
Set the language to display on the device. - All Alert Tones
Toggles the availability of Alert Tones on this TLK 100 device. - Brightness Level
Sets the display brightness level on the TLK 100 device. - Device Mode
User mode is the standard device mode. If you switch Device Mode to ‘stun’ then the device will become inoperable until it is switched back to ‘user.’ Stun is typically used to deactivate a TLK 100 unit without removing its settings from WAVE.

Allows entering the password. If you do not set a password here, then the default password is the last 8 alphanumeric of the radio device serial number. - Voice Announcements
Toggles the reception of Voice Announcements by the TLK 100 device. - Location
Toggles the transmission of location information for this TLK 100 device. - WiFi
Toggles the WiFi modem of the TLK 100 on or off. - Cellular
Toggles the cellular modem of the TLK 100 on or off. - Bluetooth
Toggles the Bluetooth of the TLK 100 on or off. - Scan
Toggles to enable or disable the scan for the TLK 100 to on or off. - Do Not Disturb
Toggles to enable or disable the do not disturb.

Shows the application package version of the TLK 100 unit. - Firmware Version
Shows the firmware version of the TLK 100 unit. - Software Downloaded
Shows if the specified software component is downloaded for radio upgrade.

- Enable Diag Download MM
Allows the user to extract the diagnostic logs via USB directly from the device. When disabled, the user does not have permission to extract with USB and shows an error message. - Diagnostic Package Available
Shows if a diagnostics package is available for download or not.

- Manage WiFi Networks
This allows you to specify the preferred WiFi network for the TLK 100 unit. Selecting the Hidden Network checkbox allows the device to connect to any network if the device is configured with schema version 3.4.
- Manage Users
Switches to the Users page to edit Talkgroups and Contacts for this TLK 100 user. - Replace TLK 100
Allows you to replace the current TLK 100 unit with another TLK 100 unit while keeping all the same properties and information. You will need to specify the IMEI and Serial Number of the new TLK 100. If the new TLK 100 unit is already registered and in use, you will be notified of an error.
- Restart TLK 100
Restarts the TLK 100.
Click the SAVE button to save and enable all changes.
Click the CANCEL button to discard all changes and return to the TLK 100s page.

To bulk-edit multiple TLK 100 Devices
- Login to the WAVE Portal with your Customer account.
- In the left navigation frame, click the TLK 100s menu.
The TLK 100s page opens displaying all registered TLK 100 devices.
- Select all TLK 100 devices you wish to edit.
NOTE: The topmost checkbox allows you to select/deselect all TLK 100s. You can also select only one TLK 100 if you require the ability to delete or modify a single unit using the Actions menu available in the next step.
- Open the Actions menu at the top of the page.
Click the action you wish to perform. Bulk actions are defined below and will be performed on ALL selected devices. You will be prompted before the actions are performed.

- Manage WiFi Networks
This allows you to specify the preferred WiFi network for all selected TLK 100 units.
- Manage Bluetooth Accessories
Allows to set a Bluetooth name and pin for the devices for connecting with the network.
- Enable WiFi
Activates WiFi on all selected TLK 100 units. - Disable WiFi
Deactivates WiFi on all selected TLK 100 units. - Enable Location
Enables GPS location updates from all selected TLK 100 units. - Disable Location
Disables GPS location updates from all selected TLK 100 units. - Stun
Temporarily deactivates all selected TLK 100 units without removing them from WAVE. - UnStun
Reactivates all selected TLK 100 units. Has no effect on units that are not currently stunned. - Update Configuration
Updates the firmware version of the TLK 100 units. - Delete
Deletes all WAVE information for the selected TLK 100 units. The units will be deactivated until added back to WAVE. Note that deleting the TLK 100s also removes the license from the account.
