Manage Access to the Customer Account

Block Operator access to customer

A customer admin can manage the permission if an operator can view and modify customer account. The following table shows the permissions for the users to the customer account.

Note: The permissions here for distributor or partner are applicable provided that employee of the distributor or partner is added to the customer as employee or user.

Customers once added to the portal, need to log in to their customer account and can choose to block the operator to access customer account.

To manage the operator access to the customer account, follow these steps:

  1. From the Customer page, click the Settings icon.
  2. Select Advanced Settings.
  3. By default, the Allow MSI Access check box is selected.
  4. To block the operator from accessing the customer account, clear the check box.
  5. Click SAVE.

The following actions are restricted when the Allow MSI Access check box is cleared.

Activate or Deactivate customer Access to customer dashboard XDM corporate page
Delete customer Access to manage users and devices
Access Chargify profile for customer Access to manage subscription and licenses
Access and modify customer name and contact information Access to manage contacts, talkgroups, radio systems, radio talkgroups and radio subscribers
Access to view and modify DM configuration for customer devices Access to manage employees
